JT has officially brought sexy back, and it doesn’t look like he’s stopping anytime soon. Like almost everyone else, I’ve been listening to his new album “The 20/20 Experience” on repeat since being released. I’ve heard some complaints about the songs being too long, but I say the more JT the merrier. And as if one wasn’t enough, JT confirmed that a follow-up album is not only in the works, but has already been recorded. With all of this new music, it seems only right that he partner up with none other than Jay-Z to co-headline a stadium tour this summer, starting on July 17 in Toronto. He has also been rumored to be in the running for the role of Daddy Warbux in the remake of “Annie,” produced by Will Smith and Jay-Z and will star Quvenzhane Wallis from “Beasts of a Southern Wild.” Not entirely sure how I feel about a sexy Daddy Warbux – but I guess we will just have to wait and see! Regardless, I love Justin just as much as I did when he looked like this.
Before “The 20/20 Experience” was released, JT put out two singles – “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors.” According to HuffPost, the song and the music video for “Mirrors” are dedicated to Timberlake’s grandparents, William and Sadie. William passed away last year, and the song serves as a retelling of their love story. AW!
Aside from “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors,” some of my other favorites from the new record include:
1. Tunnel Vision
2. Spaceship Coupe
3. Let the Groove Get In
4. Pusher Love Girl
